The Adventures of Jedidiah Wiggle-Bottom Happy-Feet Puddle-Jumper
This is Jedidiah Wiggle-Bottom Happy-Feet Puddle-Jumper Jonassen. That may seem like a rather long name for a dog, but it isn't really. Especially when you hear how he got his middle names. First of all, Jed has a stubby little tail that looks like a Springer-Spaniel tail (that's one half of his breed). So when he wags his tail, his whole butt dances with excitement. It is not possible to watch Jed wag his tail without smiling. Secondly, when Jed is especially happy, like when he's going for a walk or even a car ride, he lopes around in big happy circles, plunking both his front paws down at the same time and galloping with joyful abandon. Can't watch this without smiling, either. Trust me. Third, in the very first week that he came to live with us, we found him out on the deck with both his front paws jammed into his water bucket - his way of telling us, he would be needing a swim EVERYDAY, thank you very much. And so that's what he gets. And his name is Jedidiah Wiggle-Bottom Happy-Feet Puddle-Jumper Jonassen.
But you can call him Jed.
