Monica Nawrocki is the author of four books, numerous short fiction and nonfiction pieces appearing in various magazines and anthologies, and a shocking number of unfinished to-do lists.
Monica lives on a small island in the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples – Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. She loves to swim in Hague Lake, walk and ride through the endless forest trails, and read in the hammock. (Although the book is often a “cover” for staring at the clouds and making up stories.) |
