So long
as you write
what you wish to write, that is all that matters;

and whether it matters
for ages
or only for hours,

nobody can say.

Monica Nawrocki is the author of four books, numerous short fiction and nonfiction pieces appearing in various magazines and anthologies, and a shocking number of unfinished to-do lists.

Monica lives on a small island in the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples – Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. She loves to swim in Hague Lake, walk and ride through the endless forest trails, and read in the hammock. (Although the book is often a “cover” for staring at the clouds and making up stories.)
